I'm in!

Well this whole old blogger to new blogger thing has me a little perplexed as it won't let me actually change my own blog over yet. So... I've created a new account (at least I think I have as it's letting me post here) and hopefully I can transfer everything over eventually.

I'm really excited about this! (this group not blogger! tee hee) I have so much yarn in my stash - I know probably no where near as some, but I really need to concentrate on using what I have instead of always running to the store for something new!

Here's some of my ideas of what I'll do with my stash and of course my UFOs

Irish Hiking Scarf - half done
Samus - just getting into it
Lace wrist warmers - starting today or tomorrow once I get the needles from my sis this afternoon
Southwest style bag - I'm sure I have enough wool for this
Socks using my Sweet Georgia yarn that I got for a Christmas swap

Well, we'll see how many things I actually finish out of this list! Hopefully this group is the motivation I need to make a dent in my stash and finish the already started projects. I'll post a pic of my stash soon. As I said, I'm sure it's alot smaller than some, but it's mighty indeed.

That's it for the UFO's?! I'm impressed. I haven't even gone upstairs to start counting.

Oh - and I'm hating the new blogger verus old too - I keep on having to sign in. Grrr.

Hey, I think I recognize you from the knitters coffee swap!

Those lace armwarmers sound really pretty! I can't wait to see them!

Yep that's me! (From knitter's coffee swap)

As for small list of UFOs it wasn't until recently that my compulsive nature would let me have more than one project on the go. Freakishly I used to think I had to finish one completely before starting the next. My problem lies more in the buying the yarn with grandiose (is that how you spell that?) notions of making something and then never starting it.
